STAFF MEMBERS

The Founding Principal of Bertram A. Bruton and Associates, Architects (BAB), established in 1961, Mr. Bruton has over 55 years of experience in Design and Management on a variety of project types in both the public and private sectors. As associate architects, he has provided professional services for four of the largest public works projects in the City and County of Denver; the Colorado Convention Center, Denver International Airport, the new Broncos Stadium and the New Denver Municipal Building. A long time resident of the state, Mr. Bruton has expertise in the local design and construction techniques and material best suited for the Colorado environment. He has provided architectural services for a variety of project types throughout the State of Colorado and elsewhere. Principal.

Mr. Hogue has over thirty (30) years architectural experience, thirteen (13) years with BAB Associates P.C. / Architects, formerly Bertram A. Bruton and Associates, Architects, fourteen (14) years with Raytheon Engineering (formerly Stearns-Rogers) and seven (7) years with Fentress Bradburn Architects. He has worked on a number of commercial projects. Some of projects include Corporate Headquarters, Government Administration Buildings and Education facilities for Denver Public Schools. He has an extensive history of managing Project Design, construction documents and construction administration. Project Manager.

Shawn Gibson has been employed at BAB Associates, P.C. / Architects as an Architecture Student Intern since June of 2007. He is proficient in AutoCAD Architecture 2009, and has gained valuable knowledge pertaining to ADA compliants, IBC codes and completing construction documents. He works very well with our team and his skills have become a valuable asset as we have completed design projects for Denver International Airport and Denver Public Schools. He is currently in his 3rd year of college, working towards a bachelor's degree in architecture. Architecture Student Intern.

Mr. Zavaleta has 24 years architectural experience. He has been employed with BAB Associates, P.C. / Architects since November 2000, 12 years experience in Design and Development on a variety of Project types and Investigations in PERU, South America and 4 years experience as TA (Teacher Assistant) at Architectural Design Area in Universidad Nacional de Ingenieria (UNI), Architectural College in PERU, South America. He is licensed Architect in the Peruvian Architects Board. Architectural Designer.

Ms. Brown has been employed with BAB Associates, P.C. since June 2001. As Business Manager, she is responsible for all Financial and Human Resource related duties including, Financial Planning and Reporting, Accounts Receivable and Payable, Payroll and Benefits Administration. Michelle has a BBA in Accounting from Howard University ('82) and received CPA Certification in Colorado ('84). Business Manager.
